Each community's rules page here states its actual rule, and drafts are written to it rather than to a generic template.
No. The defaults are the cautious ones: human approval on for everything, commenting on other people's threads off entirely, DMs never automatic. You can run it that way indefinitely and only ever see a queue of drafts to approve, edit or reject.
That works. Autonomy is set per action type — publish, reply, DM and growth comment are separate dials — so you can leave publishing off entirely and use it only to draft replies to the comments on your own posts.
